Reservations Policy

        All cottage reservations require a deposit of $150 per bedroom.  Boat and motor reservations require a deposit of an additional $100.  Family reunions or groups renting two or more cottages require half the cottage rate for deposit. Telephone reservations are held for seven days without a deposit.  Deposit refunded only if all cottages or boats and motors are re-rented, less a $100 re-advertising fee.  Confirmation of reservations and receipt of deposit will be made by return mail.  Please send deposit checks to:

Visitor Policy

We welcome visitors to Shangri-La as long as they abide by all resort rules and policies.  Visitors and their actions are the responsibility of the guests hosting them.  For the protection of our guests, all visitors must register upon arrival at the office.  There will be a charge for visitors who stay over night ($25 per person) and there will be a charge for visitors who use our facilities (beach, playground, docks, equipment, etcetera) for more than three hours.  That fee is $5-$25 per visitor, depending upon how long they stay.

Pet Policy

        Pets are allowed only after Labor Day and only in certain cottages.  A pet agreement form must be completed and a fee of $25/day or $100/week per pet collected. It has been our experience that it is best for all concerned, including the pet, if they are left at home.

If Your Are Looking for a resort for heavy drinking and all night partying, please do not choose us.  Foul language, abusive or destructive behavior, and disrespect is not permitted or tolerated at Shangri-La Resort.

Just A Reminder

        Our cottages are wonderfully equipped.  You will, however, need to bring kitchen and bath towels, fans, radios, TV's, and plenty of sun tan lotion.
